As she experimented on dietary changes and stress management strategies to overcome her own health challenges, suffered the loss of loved ones from preventable diseases, and reflected on the true meaning of her existence, she realised her deep calling to dedicate herself in optimising quality of life on other levels that would resonate with her more.
Since her career shift, Anita has not stopped travelling, learning, researching, and exercising innovation in her role as the founding director and chief practitioner of i-Detox (which she founded 3 years after), and curating the selection of health products available through retail and wholesale from i-Detox. These areas of the i-Detox operation is a direct extension of her vision for empowering people to take proactive care of themselves, in practical and pleasurable fashion.
In the area of community service, Anita is especially passionate in empowering women and young adults. She is recognised as one of the 67 inspiring Hong Kong residents in the Those Who Inspire project.
